Ferrari Los Angeles is pleased to announce the availability of a true Ferrari collector classic, a properly restored 1982 Ferrari 400i.   Building off of the 365 GT/4 2+2, Ferrari introduced the 400 GT in 1976 at the Paris Auto Show. The car was an evolutionary advancement from its predecessor, with a bigger, 4.8-liter V-12 engine that produced 20 more horsepower, now up to 340. The car retained the 365 GT/4âs Pininfarina-styled angular notchback coupe body, now with four taillights instead of six. In 1979 the 400 became the 400i when the 4.8-liter motor received Bosch fuel injection in order to satisfy increasingly tight emissions requirements throughout the world. This iteration was produced until 1985, with 1,300 units leaving the factory.  The story behind this particular 1982 400i is quite an interesting one, with its first owner registered as Ferrari S.p.A. Modena, it was likely used by F1 drivers of that year, possibly even Mr. Ferrari himself. In 1983 the car was then sold and imported to the US by Exotic Motor Cars in Los Angeles California with only 1200 miles on the car, in which the vehicle was converted to meet California Emissions at the time. A year later in 1984 it was back up for sale by its then-current owner who resided in California with 2600 miles on the clock.   It then sold to an individual, also in California, who kept it until 1990 bringing the odometer to 12,800 miles. Since then, it has had two additional owners, one of which had it shown at the Concorso Italiano in 2005, with the current owner having purchased it in 2017. That year, a total restoration on the car began, what would eventually amount to approximately $185,000 in repair work over the next three years. We have all invoices to show the extensive amount of work that was completed. The owner notes the car was in wonderful condition to start with, but wanted to restore this piece of history to its original glory. It has remained a California car all itâs life since coming to the states, so there is no rust present on the vehicle. Gran Turismo Los Angeles did the entire mechanical restoration, with another well known shop, Mario and Son in Hesperia California completed the paint and bodywork. Robert Jenni at Exotic Performance in Hawthorne did all the final tuning and adjustments. In 2021 the car was shown at San Marino Car Classic, receiving the Gold Award in its class. This particular 400i model has the burl-wood center console which was very rare. It also is equipped with separate front and back air conditioning. A vintage looking retro-radio was sourced that looks vintage but is really a modern Bluetooth system with fresh front and back coax speakers.  It comes with a complete set of original unused tools, a very rare dealership brochure plus extremely rare care show brochure, the original owners manuals with pouch, as well as many rare repair manuals and parts books. Body styles include coupes, sedans, convertibles and station wagons. Super Sport versions were produced through the 1973 model year.  Ford released the mid-sized Fairlane in 1963, to which Chevrolet responded with the 1964 Chevelle based on a new A platform design. Riding on a 115-inch wheelbase, the new Chevelle was similar in size, simplicity, and concept to the standard-sized 1*number in the description* Chevrolet models. The Chevelle was the U.S. auto industry's only all-new car for 1964 and was positioned to fill the gap between the small Chevy II and the full-sized Chevrolet models. Introduced in August 1963 by "Bunkie" Knudsen, the Chevelle filled the gap for Chevrolet with sales of 338,286 for the year.  Originally conceived as an upsizing of the Chevy II with a unibody platform which originated with the XP-726 program, GM's "senior compact" A-platform used a body-on-frame construction using a suspension setup similar to its full sized automobiles with a 4 link rear suspension.  The Chevelle Super Sport, or SS represented Chevrolet's entry into the muscle car battle. Early 1964 and 1965 Chevelle's had a Malibu SS badge on the rear quarter panel.  The second generation Chevelle was launched in 1968 and adopted a long-hood/short-deck profile with a high rear-quarter "kick-up" Hardtop coupes featured a semi-fastback and a flowing roofline.  1969 Chevelles were billed as "America's most popular mid-size car." They showed only minor changes for 1969, led by revised front-end styling. A single chrome bar connected quad headlights with a revised front grille, now cast in ABS plastic, and a slotted bumper held the parking lights. Taillight lenses were larger and more vertical, flowing into the quarter panels. Smaller side marker lighting bezels were phased in. Front vent windows began to fade away now that Astro Ventilation was sending outside air into several Chevelle models. The Chevelle lineup slimmed down to Nomad, 300 Deluxe/Greenbrier, Malibu/Concours, and Concours Estate series, and the base 300 series was history. No longer a series of its own, the SS 396 turned into a $347.60 option package for any two-door model. Fewer SS396-optioned 300 Deluxe coupes and sport coupes were built than their Malibu counterparts and they are solid gold for collectors. The Super Sport option included a 325-horsepower 396-cubic-inch V8 beneath a double-domed hood, along with a black-out grille displaying an SS emblem and a black rear panel. All 1969 Chevelles had a new locking steering column one year ahead of the Federal requirement, and headrests required for all cars sold in the U.S. after January 1, 1969.

Please email  or call 1-*number in the description*  About the Defender 110  The Land Rover Defender (initially called the Land Rover Ninety and Land Rover One Ten) is a British four-wheel drive off-road vehicle developed in the 1980s from the original Land Rover Series which was launched at the Amsterdam Motor Show in April 1948. After a continuous run of 67 years, production finally ended on 29 January 2016 when the last Land Rover Defender rolled off the production line.  The coil sprung Land Rover was introduced in 1983 as "Land Rover One Ten" the number representing the wheelbase in inches.The number was spelled in full in advertising and in handbooks and manuals, and the vehicles also carried badges above the radiator grille which read "Land Rover 110", with the number rendered numerically.  From Spring 2007 a series of changes were made to the Defender, most of which were implemented to meet emissions and safety legislation. The biggest change was to the drivetrain. The Td5 engine was replaced by an engine from Ford's DuraTorq line (AKA the Puma engine), built in their factory in Dagenham, making the Td5 the last Land Rover engine to be built in-house at Solihull.  The engine chosen was from the ZSD family, being a version of the 2.4-litre four-cylinder unit also used in the highly successful Ford Transit. The engine's lubrication and sealing system was adapted for use in wet, dusty conditions and to maintain lubrication at extreme angles in off-road use. The power level remains the same at 122HP, but with a lower power peak speed for towing and better acceleration. Torque output rose from 221 lbâft to 265 lbâft due to the fitting of a variable-geometry turbocharger. This produces a wider spread of torque than the Td5, from 1500 rpm to 2000 rpm. The engine is mated to a new six-speed gearbox. First gear is lower than the previous gearbox for better low-speed control, whilst the higher sixth gear is intended to reduce noise and fuel consumption at high speeds.  2012 Brought forth some changes with the main change being the installation of a different engine from the Ford Duratorq engine range. Ford decided, due to cost reasons, not to modify the 2.4-litre engine introduced in 2007 to meet the upcoming Euro V emissions standards and so the engine was replaced with the ZSD-422 engine, essentially a 2.2-litre variant of the same engine.  Although smaller than the existing unit the power and torque outputs remained unchanged and the same six-speed gearbox was used as well. The first Chevrolet pickup truck appeared in 1924, though in-house designs did not appear until 1930. "C" indicated two-wheel drive and "K" indicated four-wheel drive. The aging C/K light-duty pickup truck was replaced with the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra in 1999 in the US; the Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD heavy-duty pickup trucks followed in 2001.  A new, more modern look came in 1967, along with a new nickname: "Action Line". It was with this revision of the C/K truck that General Motors began to add comfort and convenience items to a vehicle line that had previously been for work purposes alone. The majority of 10 and 20 series Chevrolet trucks from 1967 to 1972 were built with a coil spring trailing arm rear suspension, which greatly improved the ride over traditional leaf springs. However, the leaf spring rear suspension was still available on those trucks, and standard on 30 series trucks. GMC models came standard with leaf springs with coils springs optional; all four-wheel drive models (Chevrolet and GMC) had leaf springs on both axles. This was the only year of the "small rear window"; it was replaced with larger rear glass in 1968. The standard drivetrain came with a three speed manual transmission and one of two engines; the 250 inÂ³ straight six or the 283 cu in (4.6 L) V8. The optional transmissions were the four speed manual, the Powerglide and the Turbo-Hydramatic 350 and 400. The 292 six and the 327 inÂ³ V8 were the optional engines. The 1/2 ton trucks came with a 6 x 5.5" bolt pattern, the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks came with an 8 x 6.5" bolt pattern.  In 1968, the 283 cu in (4.6 L) V8 was replaced with a 307 cu in (5.0 L) and a 310 hp (231 kW), 396 cu in (6.5 L) V8 was offered for the first time. The most visible change in differentiating a 1968 from a 1967 was the addition of side-marker reflectors on all fenders. Also, the small rear window cab was no longer available. The GMC grille was revised, with the letters "GMC" no longer embossed in the horizontal crossbar. Please email  or call 1-*number in the description*  About the CJ:  The Jeep CJ models are both a series and a range of small, open-bodied off-road vehicles and compact pickup trucks, built and sold by several successive incarnations of the Jeep automobile marque from 1945 to 1986. The 1945 Willys Jeep was the world's first mass-produced civilian four-wheel drive car.  In 1944, Willys-Overland, one of the two main manufacturers of the World War II military Jeep, built the first prototypes for a commercial version â the CJ, short for "civilian Jeep". From then on, all CJ Jeeps consistently had a separate body and frame, rigid live axles with leaf springs both front and rear, a tapering nose design with flared fenders, and a fold-flat windshield, and could be driven without doors. Also, with few exceptions, they had part-time four-wheel drive systems, with the choice of high and low gearing, and open bodies with removable hard or soft tops.  After remaining in production through a range of model numbers, and several corporate parents, the Jeep CJ line was officially ended in 1986. More than 1.5 million CJ Jeeps were built, having continued the same basic body style for 45 years since the Jeep first appeared.  Widely regarded as "America's workhorse", the CJs have been described as "probably the most successful utility vehicle ever made." American Motors VP Joseph Cappy said the end of "CJ production will signal an end of a very important era in Jeep history." The Jeep CJ-7 was replaced in 1987 by the similar-looking Jeep Wrangler.  To accommodate the new engines, the wheelbase was stretched by 3" and the fenders and hood were stretched by 5", pushing the firewall two inches closer to the rear. A new box-frame was fitted, featuring six cross-members for more rigidity. Also, a larger fuel tank was mounted, moved from under the driver's seat to under the rear, between the frame rails.  A dealer-installed radio became available in 1973, air conditioning became available via dealership in 1975. Electronic, breakerless distributors replaced breaker-point Delco distributors for the full engine line-up, and a catalytic converter was added to models equipped with the 304 V8.

Please email  or call 1-*number in the description*  About the Firebird:  The Pontiac Firebird is an American automobile that was built and produced by Pontiac from the 1967 to 2002 model years. Designed as a pony car to compete with the Ford Mustang, it was introduced on February 23, 1967, five months after GM's Chevrolet division's platform-sharing Camaro. This also coincided with the release of the 1967 Mercury Cougar, Ford's upscale, platform-sharing version of the Mustang.  The name "Firebird" was also previously used by GM for the General Motors Firebird in the 1950s and early 1960s concept cars.  The first generation Firebird had characteristic Coke bottle styling shared with its cousin, the Chevrolet Camaro. Announcing a Pontiac styling trend, the Firebird's bumpers were integrated into the design of the front end, giving it a more streamlined look than the Camaro. The Firebird's rear "slit" taillights were inspired by the 1966â1967 Pontiac GTO. Both a two-door hardtop and a convertible were offered through the 1969 model year.  The 1967 base model Firebird came equipped with the Pontiac 230ci SOHC inline-six, it was fitted with a one-barrel carburetor and rated at 165HP. The "Sprint" model six came with a four-barrel carburetor, developing 215HP. Most buyers opted for one of three V8s: the 326ci with a two-barrel carburetor producing 250HP, the four-barrel "HO"  326, producing 285HP or the 325HP 400ci from the GTO. All 1967â1968 400 CI engines had throttle restrictors that blocked the carburetors' secondaries from fully opening. A "Ram Air" option was also available, providing functional hood scoops, higher flow heads with stronger valve springs, and a hotter camshaft. Power for the Ram Air package was the same as the conventional 400 HO, but peaked at 5,200 rpm.  The 230ci engines were subsequently enlarged for 1968 to 250ci, the base version developing an increased 175HP using a one-barrel carburetor, and the high-output Sprint version the same 215HP with a four-barrel carburetor. Also for the 1968 model, the 326ci engine was replaced by the Pontiac 350ci V8, which actually displaced 354ci and produced 265HP with a two-barrel carburetor. An HO version of the 350ci with a revised cam was also offered starting in that year, which developed 320HP. Power output of the other engines was increased marginally.  The styling difference from the 1967 to the 1968 model was the addition of federally-mandated side marker lights: for the front of the car, the turn signals were made larger and extended to wrap around the front edges of the car, and on the rear, the Pontiac (V-shaped) Arrowhead logo was added to each side. The front door vent-windows were replaced with a single pane of glass and Astro Ventilation, a fresh-air-inlet system. The 1969 model received a major facelift with a new front-end design but unlike the GTO, it did not have the Endura bumper. The instrument panel and steering wheel were revised. The ignition switch was moved from the dashboard to the steering column with the introduction of GM's new locking ignition switch/steering wheel.  In March 1969, a US$1,083 optional handling package called the "Trans Am performance and appearance package", UPC "WS4", named after the Trans Am Series, was introduced. This COPO is powered by a matching numbers 427ci L72 V8 mated to a period-correct four-speed manual transmission and a 4.10:1 rear axle.  Painted in the desirable factory Hugger Orange, the car shows very well for a survivor car. The vehicle sat outdoors in Colorado for many years until 2020.  Since then, the master cylinder, a wheel cylinder, brake lines, spark plugs, points, battery, and headlight bulbs, have been replaced; and additional service has included greasing the suspension components, changing the fluids, balancing the tires, rebuilding the carburetor, and setting the valve lash. Chambered exhaust, matching numbers rear axle, 1 of 97 ordered through Central Order Processing.  The stamping on the engine block matches the last eight characters of the car's serial number: 9N644048, and an "MN" suffix is present on the same pad.  Color-matched 14 inch steel wheels with chrome hubcaps are wrapped with 215/75 Goodyear radial tires. Stopping power is provided by power front disc brakes, with drums at the rear. The brake master cylinder has been replaced along with both front brake lines and one rear brake line. Suspension components were greased and brake and steering fluids were replaced. In the late 1960s, several well-informed Chevrolet dealers were able to use the company's vehicle ordering system to create cars that otherwise would never have existed. Specifically, a Camaro with a combination of performance equipment that resulted in an NHRA Stock Eliminator class special. Their tool was the Central Office Production Order (COPO) system, put in place by Chevrolet so dealers with fleet customers like municipalities and service operations could order batches of cars or trucks with unique equipment or colors to meet their needs. It was Dodge's low-priced powerful muscle car and a rebadged version of the Plymouth Road Runner.  The origin of the name, "Super Bee", has its basis in the "B" Body designation pertinent to Chrysler's mid-sized cars, including the Road Runner and Charger.  Although the two cars are similar in external appearance, the Super Bee was slightly heavier by 65 LBS and rode on a 117-inch wheelbase compared to the Road Runner's 116 inch wheelbase. In addition to minor external differences, such as larger rear wheel openings, the bumblebee tail stripe, fancier grille, and the taillight ornamentation, the Super Bee also used actual diecast chrome-plated "Bee" medallions. After a continuous run of 67 years, production finally ended on 29 January 2016 when the last Land Rover Defender rolled off the production line.  The coil sprung Land Rover was introduced in 1983 as "Land Rover One Ten" the number representing the wheelbase in inches.The number was spelled in full in advertising and in handbooks and manuals, and the vehicles also carried badges above the radiator grille which read  "Land Rover 110", with the number rendered numerically.  From Spring 2007 a series of changes were made to the Defender, most of which were implemented to meet emissions and safety legislation. The biggest change was to the drivetrain. The Td5 engine was replaced by an engine from Ford's DuraTorq line (AKA the Puma engine), built in their factory in Dagenham, making the Td5 the last Land Rover engine to be built in-house at Solihull.  The engine chosen was from the ZSD family, being a version of the 2.4-litre four-cylinder unit also used in the highly successful Ford Transit. The engine's lubrication and sealing system was adapted for use in wet, dusty conditions and to maintain lubrication at extreme angles in off-road use. The power level remains the same at 122HP, but with a lower power peak speed for towing and better acceleration. Torque output rose from 221 lbâft to 265 lbâft due to the fitting of a variable-geometry turbocharger. This produces a wider spread of torque than the Td5, from 1500 rpm to 2000 rpm. The engine is mated to a new six-speed gearbox. First gear is lower than the previous gearbox for better low-speed control, whilst the higher sixth gear is intended to reduce noise and fuel consumption at high speeds.  2012 Brought forth some changes with the main change being the installation of a different engine from the Ford Duratorq engine range. Ford decided, due to cost reasons, not to modify the 2.4-litre engine introduced in 2007 to meet the upcoming Euro V emissions standards and so the engine was replaced with the ZSD-422 engine, essentially a 2.2-litre variant of the same engine.  Although smaller than the existing unit the power and torque outputs remained unchanged and the same six-speed gearbox was used as well. The engine included a diesel particulate filter for the first time on a Defender.

This was based on the earlier 2.3-liter engine, but had a more modern fuel-injection system as well as increased capacity.  1994 saw another development of the Tdi engine, the 300Tdi. Although the 200Tdi had been a big step forward, it had been essentially a reworking of the old turbocharged diesel to accept a direct injection system. In contrast the 300Tdi was virtually new and delivered 111 Horsepower and 195 lbfâft of torque.

Fusion Motor Company proudly presents this 1987 BUICK GNX with ONLY 1,298 miles!!!  Without question, the most desirable street car of the 80's  90's - The Buick GNX!! Known as Darth Vader's Car, there was nothing as scary as a GNX with its fender vents and widened wheel flares encompassing the GNX-specific Black Mesh Wheels.  Those who knew, wouldn't even bother a light-to-light sprint with the mighty GNX, and those who didn't, quickly found out as the GNX pulled away at an astounding pace.  This particular GNX is number 116 of 547 ever built.  A true investment-grade collectible that will continue to appreciate!!!  About the GNX:  For the final year, 1987, Buick introduced the limited production GNX, for "Grand National Experimental", at $29,900.  Made in partnership with McLaren Performance Technologies/ASC, Buick produced only 547 GNs with the interior trim package, that were then sent off to McLaren and upgraded into the Buick GNX. Buick underrated the GNX at 276 HP at 4400 rpm and a very substantial 360 lbâft at 3000 rpm of torque, although actual output is 300 HP and 420 lbâft.  This was created to be the "Grand National to end all Grand Nationals." Changes made included a special Garrett AiResearch T-3 turbocharger with a ceramic-impeller blowing through a more efficient and significantly larger capacity intercooler with a "Cermatel (ceramic-aluminum) coated" pipe connecting the intercooler to the engine. A GNX specific EEPROM, low-restriction exhaust with dual mufflers, reprogrammed turbo Hydramatic 200-4R transmission with a custom torque converter and transmission cooler, and unique differential cover/Panhard bar included more of the performance modifications.  Exterior styling changes include vents located on each front fender, 16 inch black mesh style wheels with VR-speed rated tires, and deletion of the hood and fender emblems. The interior changes of the GNX included a serial number on the dash plaque and a revised instrument cluster providing Stewart-Warner analog gauges, including an analog turbo boost gauge.  Performance was measured faster than the Ferrari F40 and the Porsche 930 with a 1â4 mile time of 12.7 seconds at 113.1 mph and a 0-60 mph time of 4.6 seconds (0.4 and 0.3 seconds quicker, respectively). The GNX used a unique torque arm that was mounted to a special, GNX only, rear differential cover, for increased traction. The torque arm rear suspension alters the suspension geometry, making the body lift while planting the rear tires down, resulting in increased traction.  GNX #001 is the 1986 prototype currently owned by Buick and sometimes makes appearances at car shows around the US.  The stealthy appearance of the all-black GNX and Grand National (and the resemblance of its grill to his helmet's mouthpiece), coupled with the fact that the Grand National was initially released during the popularity of Star Wars movies, earned it the title "Darth Vader's Car". Car and Driver covered the GNX model's introduction with the headline "Lord Vader, your car is ready." Due to the turbocharged six-cylinder engine, the Buick make, and the black paint Grand Nationals were sometimes referred to as the "Dark Side". New top-line Galaxie 500 (two-door sedan and hardtop, four-door sedan and hardtop, and "Sunliner" convertible) models offered plusher interiors, more chrome trim outside, and a few additional luxury items over and above what was standard on the plainer Galaxie models. Base Galaxie models were available in two- and four-door sedans as well as the plain Ranch Wagon. In an effort to stimulate midseason sales, Ford introduced a group of sporty cars along with a "Lively Ones" marketing campaign. These models featured the bucket seats and console that were popularized by the Chevrolet Corvair Monza, and included a Fairlane 500 Sports Coupe, and a Falcon Futura.  This model was Ford's response to Chevrolet's Super Sport option for the big Impala, which was introduced the previous year and saw a significant rise in sales for 1962. The first generation of the GTO was the first muscle car produced in the 1960s and the 1970s. The Pontiac GTO is considered by some to have started the trend with all four domestic automakers offering a variety of competing models.  The GTO was selected as the Motor Trend Car of the Year in 1968.  In early 1963, General Motors' management banned divisions from involvement in auto racing. This followed the 1957 voluntary ban on automobile racing that was instituted by the Automobile Manufacturers Association. By the early 1960s, Pontiac's advertising and marketing approach was heavily based on performance. With GM's ban on factory-sponsored racing, Pontiac's managers began to emphasize street performance.  In his autobiography Glory Days, Pontiac chief marketing manager Jim Wangers, who worked for the division's contract advertising and public relations agency, states that John DeLorean, Bill Collins, and Russ Gee were responsible for the GTO's creation.  The GTO disregarded GM's policy limiting the A-body intermediate line to a maximum engine displacement of 330 cu in (5.4 L). But the development team discovered a loophole in the policy which does not restrict large engines to be offered as an option.  By promoting the big-engine option as a special high-performance model, they could appeal to the speed-minded youth market (which had also been recognized by Ford Motor Company's Lee Iacocca, who was at that time preparing the sporty Ford Mustang variant of the second generation Ford Falcon compact).  The name, which was DeLorean's idea, was inspired by the Ferrari 250 GTO, the successful race car. It is an Italian abbreviation for Gran Turismo Omologato ("grand tourer homologated"), which means officially certified for racing in the grand tourer class. In reality, however, the Pontiac GTO was never really a certified Grand Tourer race car. Internally, it was initially called the "Grand Tempest Option" The GTO is one of the fastest cars ever manufactured by Pontiac.  The Tempest model line received another facelift for the 1970 model year. Hidden headlights were deleted in favor of four exposed round headlamps outboard of narrower grille openings. The nose retained the protruding vertical prow theme, although it was less prominent. While the standard Tempest and LeMans had chrome grilles, the GTO retained the Endura urethane cover around the headlamps and grille.  The suspension was upgraded with the addition of a rear anti-roll bar, essentially the same bar as used on the Oldsmobile 442 and Buick Gran Sport. The front anti-roll bar was slightly stiffer. The result was a useful reduction in body lean in turns and a modest reduction of understeer.  Another handling-related improvement was optional variable-ratio power steering. Rather than a fixed ratio of 17.5:1, requiring four turns lock-to-lock, the new system varied its ratio from 14.6:1 to 18.9:1, needing 3.5 turns lock-to-lock. Designed as a pony car to compete with the Ford Mustang, it was introduced on February 23, 1967, five months after GM's Chevrolet division's platform-sharing Camaro. This also coincided with the release of the 1967 Mercury Cougar, Ford's upscale, platform-sharing version of the Mustang.  The name "Firebird" was also previously used by GM for the General Motors Firebird in the 1950s and early 1960s concept cars.  The second-generation debut for the 1970 model year was delayed until February 26, 1970, because of tooling and engineering problems; thus, its popular designation as a 1970Â½ model, while leftover 1969s were listed in early Pontiac literature without a model-year identification. Please email  or call 1-*number in the description*  About the 150 Wagon:  The Chevrolet One-Fifty (or 150) was the economy/fleet model of the Chevrolet car from 1953 until 1957. It took its name by shortening the production series number (1500) by one digit in order to capitalize on the numerical auto name trend of the 1950s. The numerical designation "150" was also sporadically used in company literature. It replaced the Styleline Special model available in previous years. This model was dropped following the 1957 model year and replaced by the Delray.  The One-Fifty was mainly conceived as a fleet model and little effort was spent marketing it to the average car buyer of the day, although sales weren't limited to fleets. It was most popular with police, state governments, small businesses, economy-minded consumers and hot rodders. Chevrolet sold substantially fewer One-Fifties than Two-Tens or the Chevrolet Bel Air in every year of its life.  True to Chevrolet's vision, the 150 was no-frills basic transportation. It had limited options, stark trim, solid colors, plain heavy duty upholstery and rubberized flooring. Small things like ashtrays, cigarette lighters and even mirrors were extra cost options. Compared to the mid-level Two-Ten or premium Bel Air models, the One-Fifty was stark and bland.  Body style choices were also limited to sedans, Handyman wagons, four-door in 1953â1954, two-door in 1955â1957 and the club coupe. The only body styles specific to the One-Fifty were decidedly fleet oriented - the sedan delivery (a 2-door wagon without rear windows and the rear seat removed) and the business sedan - a 2-door sedan with immobile rear windows and back seat removed. Powertrain choices were limited to manual transmissions and low output engines until 1954. In 1957, a full race-ready version was also available, commonly known as the "Black Widow" for its black-and-white paint color. It was equipped with 4-wheel heavy-duty brakes, 6-lug wheels and dual shock absorbers.  The 1955 model year marked the introduction of a new chassis, all new streamlined single bow bodywork, and the debut of Chevrolet's Small Block V8. The One-Fifty buyer was free to choose any powertrain option available. The business sedan was renamed the utility sedan this year. Unlike the 210 and the Bel Air, the 150 did not have any of the stainless steel trim.  New for 1957 was the 283 small-block V8. The 1957 150 had side trim similar to the 1955's Bel Air trim.

Please email  or call 1-*number in the description*  About the El Camino:  Ford Australia was the first company to produce a coupÃ© utility as a result of a 1932 letter from the wife of a farmer in Victoria, Australia, asking for "a vehicle to go to church in on a Sunday and which can carry our pigs to market on Mondays". Ford designer Lew Bandt developed a suitable solution, and the first coupÃ© utility model was released in 1934.  Ford introduced the 1957 Ranchero, and established a new market segment in the U.S. market of an automobile platform based coupÃ© utility.  In 1959, Chevrolet responded with the El Camino to compete with Ford's full-sized Ranchero.  Chevrolet reintroduced an all new, mid-size El Camino four years later based on the Chevrolet Chevelle. The 1964 model was similar to the Chevelle two-door wagon forward of the B-pillars and carried both "Chevelle" and "El Camino" badges, but Chevrolet marketed the vehicle as a utility model and Chevelle's most powerful engines were not available.  Initial engine offerings included six-cylinder engines of 194 and 230 cubic inches with horsepower ratings of 120 and 155 HP respectively. The standard V8 was a 283 cubic-inch Chevrolet small block with two-barrel carburetor and 195 HP with optional engines including a 220 HP 283 with four-barrel carburetor and dual exhausts. Added to the El Camino's option list during the course of the 1964 model year were two versions of the 327 cubic-inch small block V8 rated at 250 and 300 HP-the latter featuring a higher compression ratio of 10.5:1, larger four-barrel carburetor and dual exhausts. El Caminos also featured Air shocks in the rear, as well as fully boxed frames. The shocks were continued over all generations, the frames only thru 1967.  The 1965 El Camino received the same facelift as the '65 Chevelle, with a more pronounced V-shaped front end, and a higher performance L79 version of the 327 engine rated at 350 HP that was also available in Chevelles. Most of the other engines were carried over from 1964, including the 194 and 230 cubic-inch Turbo Thrift sixes, the 195 HP 283 cubic-inch Turbo-Fire V8 and 327 cubic-inch Turbo-Fire V8s of 250 and 300 HP  1966 In 1966, GM added a 396 cu in (6.5 L) V8 engine to the lineup rated from 325 to 375 HP. The 1965 327 would run low 15s in the 1/4 mile (at some 90 mph), while 1966 to 1969 models were easily into the mid- to upper-14s. New Sheetmetal highlighted the 1966 El Camino, identical to the Chevelle. A new instrument panel with horizontal sweep speedometer was featured. Inside, the standard version featured a bench seat interior and rubber floor mat from the low-line Chevelle 300 series, while the Custom used a more upscale interior from the Chevelle Malibu with plusher cloth-and-vinyl or all-vinyl bench seats and deep twist carpeting, or optional Strato swivel bucket seats with console. Please email  or call 1-*number in the description*  About the Defender 90:  The Land Rover Defender (initially called the Land Rover Ninety and Land Rover One Ten) is a British four-wheel drive off-road vehicle developed in the 1980s from the original Land Rover Series which was launched at the Amsterdam Motor Show in April 1948. After a continuous run of 67 years, production finally ended on 29 January 2016 when the last Land Rover Defender rolled off the production line.  The coil sprung Land Rover was introduced in 1983 as "Land Rover Ninety" the number representing the wheelbase in inches. The number was spelled in full in advertising and in handbooks and manuals, and the vehicles also carried badges above the radiator grille which read "Land Rover 90" or "Land Rover 110", with the number rendered numerically. The Ninety and One Ten replaced the earlier Land Rover Series.  Superficially there is little to distinguish the post-1983 vehicles from the Series III Land Rover. A full-length bonnet, revised grille, plus the fitting of wheel arch extensions to cover wider-track axles are the most noticeable changes. It was available in a variety of body styles, including a panel van, suburban, and pickup truck. The Advance Design trucks featured a new, more modern design, with improved visibility and better ride and handling. They were powered by a range of inline six and V8 engines, and were known for their durability and reliability. The Advance Design trucks were popular with both commercial and personal buyers and played a significant role in the growth of Chevrolet during the post-World War II period.  The series was launched as a 1947 model, using a design that had been initiated before World War II and was characterised by an integrated cab and cargo body and a wide hood extending over the front fenders. The line was offered in a wide range of configurations, including pickups, panel trucks, Suburbans, and a new type of vehicle, the cab-over-engine (COE) design, which was a commercial vehicle with the driver cab built over the front axle. The series was updated for the 1954 model year, but was replaced in 1955 by the Task Force series.

In 1953, when GM executives were looking to a name the new Chevrolet sports car, assistant director for the Public Relations department Myron Scott suggested Corvette after the small maneuverable warship - and the name was approved. The first model, a convertible, was introduced at the GM Motorama in 1953 as a concept and was followed ten years later, in the 1963 second generation, in coupe and convertible styles. Originally manufactured in Flint, Michigan as well as St. Louis, Missouri, the Corvette has been manufactured since 1981 in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  The Corvette has since become widely known as "America's Sports Car." Automotive News said that after 'starring' in the early 1960s television show Route 66, the Corvette became synonymous with freedom and adventure," ultimately becoming both "the most successful concept car in history and the most popular sports car in history".  The third generation Corvette, patterned after the Mako Shark II concept car, was introduced for the 1968 model year and was in production until 1982. C3 coupes featured the first use of T-top removable roof panels.  Engines and chassis components were mostly carried over from the C2, but the body and interior were new. The 350 cu in (5.7 L) engine replaced the old 327 cu in (5.36 L) as the base engine in 1969, but power remained at 300 bhp. 1969 was the only year for a C3 to optionally offer either a factory installed side exhaust or normal rear exit with chrome tips. The all-aluminum ZL1 engine was also new for 1969; the special big-block engine was listed at 430 HP, but was reported to produce 560 HP and propelled a ZL1 through the 1/4 mile in 10.89 seconds. Part of the General Motors (GM) A-body platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet's most successful nameplates.  Ford released the mid-sized Fairlane in 1963, to which Chevrolet responded with the 1964 Chevelle based on a new A platform design. Riding on a 115-inch wheelbase, the new Chevelle was similar in size, simplicity, and concept to the standard-sized 1*number in the description* Chevrolet models. The Chevelle was the U.S. auto industry's only all-new car for 1964 and was positioned to fill the gap between the small Chevy II and the full-sized Chevrolet models. Introduced in August 1963 by "Bunkie" Knudsen, the Chevelle filled the gap for Chevrolet with sales of 338,286 for the year.  Originally conceived as an upsizing of the Chevy II with a unibody platform which originated with the XP-726 program, GM's "senior compact" A-platform used a body-on-frame construction using a suspension setup similar to its full sized automobiles with a 4 link rear suspension.  The Chevelle Super Sport, or SS represented Chevrolet's entry into the muscle car battle. Early 1964 and 1965 Chevelles had a Malibu SS badge on the rear quarter panel.  The Chevelle SS396 became a series of its own in 1966 with series/style numbers 13817 and 13867. The performance engines available included three, 396 CID V8s â the standard, rated at 325 HP, an optional 360 HP, and an optional 375 HP. The SS396 series lasted from 1966 through 1968 before being relegated to an option package in 1969. The 1966 and 1967 model years were the only two years of the 'strut back' 2-door sport coupe with its own style number.  1966 saw a complete restyle of the Chevelle on the previous frame that included smooth contours, a broad new grille and bumper treatment, and curved side windows. Bulging rear fender lines and a "flying buttress" roofline tunneled into the "C" pillar were highlights of the '66 hardtops. The new body reflected the "Coke bottle" body shape that became the fad for American cars in the mid-1960s.  The 1967 models received a facelift. Large wraparound taillamps went into a new rear end with standard backup lights. "What you'll see inside," claimed the sales brochure for the 1967 Chevelle, "will probably bring on a severe compulsion to go driving." Front disc brakes were available on all models, and a new dual master cylinder brake system incorporated a warning light. Chevrolet also added 14" wheels and a three speed automatic transmission to their line of transmissions. New safety equipment became standard, including a collapsible steering column. The SS396 continued as its own series with both sport coupe and convertible body styles. The 375-horsepower 396-cubic-inch V8 was dropped from the options list until late in the model year and returned with 612 being sold. Seven transmissions were available: two manual three-speeds, two manual four-speeds, an overdrive three-speed, and two automatics. The manual-shift feature of the Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission was featured. Options included Superlift air shock absorbers, Strato-ease headrests, and special instrumentation.
