Offered for sale by Fusion Luxury Motors is an impressive 1973 De Tomaso Pantera, a well-known Southern California example that blends Italian design with serious American V8 performance. Showing 78,146 miles, this Pantera has been extensively upgraded and carefully maintained, with over $80,000 invested in performance, reliability, and presentation.  Finished in striking French Racing Blue with black trim, the car presents beautifully and has been garage-kept under current ownership for the past five years. It has never been driven in the rain during that time and has been hand-washed and waxed only. This Pantera is a former feature car in Pantera International Magazine (Summer 2006, Issue No. 127) and placed 3rd in class at the 2006 LA Concours d'Elegance in the Euro-American Hybrids category.  Power comes from a rebuilt Ford 351 Windsor V8, professionally gone through approximately three years ago and dyno tested at 600 horsepower. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF 5-speed manual transmission, which was completely overhauled in 2016 and polished for presentation. The result is a car that delivers thrilling performance while maintaining the iconic character that made the Pantera legendary. show-quality Group 4 style 1971 De Tomaso Pantera fresh off an all-encompassing restoration. At the heart of this Pantera is a 351 Cleveland V8 that has been bored and stroked to displace 408 cubic inches. It features Trick Flow aluminum heads, stainless vales, a new blue printed Demon 4150 carburetor, new clutch, new pressure plate, new TO bearing, new MSD system, and new ceramic coated Cleveland headers. The exterior was refreshed with new show-quality paint in yellow and the interior was completely re-trimmed in black leather with matching yellow stitching.This Pantera was owned by the same family from 1971 well into the 1990s, during which time it was treated to its first restoration in the late 1980s. Pantera Performance Center in CO conducted a bare-metal restoration that included fitment of the metal Group 4 style fender flares, pictures of which are included in the attached records.The recent restoration, which included the 408 build, current paint, and interior retrim, was conducted by Pantera marque experts in Southern California.
