Used Lamborghini Gallardo For Sale

For those interested in purchasing a Lamborghini Gallardo for sale, we have a wide selection for sale in a variety of trim levels in both topless and hardtop versions. When looking at listings be sure to select clean cars with up to date service records. The main concern is the e-gear issues. Spend the time, do your homework and be sure to have the car inspected.

Produced from 2003 to 2013, the Italian bull represents one of the company’s most popular automobiles in terms of sales numbers. Some 4,099 units were built between 2001 and 2011, with a total of 14,022 produced in the course of its lifetime, many of which were variants. A smaller sibling of the flagship, the car is a nimble and wickedly fast performance machine powered by a mid-mounted V10. As time passed and the automotive market evolved, the car went through two generational changes following its inception.

The first generation housed a 5.0 liter V10 pushing out 493 hp and accelerated from 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds. Angular and aggressively squarish, the exterior reflects the aesthetic themes strongly present in its big V12 sibling. Available with a six-speed manual gearbox or a semi-automatic, F-1 style, paddle-shift operated E-gear, the driver’s interaction with the V10 behind their head is immediate and direct. It was the potency of this combination that led the Italian State Police to order their own version. Fitted with a holster in the dash, the front compartment housed a small refrigerator and first aid supplies. LED strobes hidden around the body and a 360-degree camera system keep the officer safe.

Due to demand for high-performance variations of this model, Lamborghini has produced the Superleggera, or “super-light.” This is a carbon-fiber infused bull, weighing 220 lbs lighter than its stock counterpart and beefed up by ten more horsepower, was available as a significantly faster version. Chief Test Driver Valentino Balboni was ready to retire in 2011, so a limited run of RWD examples was built in his honor. All 250 examples are six-speed manuals with a custom graphics package. In 2006 a convertible version of the coupe was introduced as the Spyder, allowing drivers and passengers to more fully experience the sound of the V10 behind their heads. With 513 hp and a fully retractable top, this was considered to be a completely new model.

In 2007 the powertrain was significantly modified. Its V10 sends 552 hp to the new AWD, alluding to the new designation of LP560-4. A Superleggera LP570-4 AWD was added in 2010 with further weight reductions and power increased to 570 hp. No less than seventeen special editions were produced. The most sought after was the Super Trofeo. Inspired by the Blancpain series race cars, it shaved 150 lbs to weigh in at 2,948 lbs. Costs of ownership are low thanks to great build quality, and the aftermarket has embraced the design, with several options for body and performance enhancements. Our dealers have many pristine cars to choose from, so browse our listings and find the Gallardo price that fits your budget.
