Used Rolls-Royce Wraith For Sale
The sleek and menacing Black Badge created in England, didn’t end with the Ghost. Now available in the sleek, menacing style is the English automaker’s famous Rolls-Royce Wraith for sale. Taking over 400 hours to build, the completely handcrafted car features a multitude of unique features, one of which is the wheels.
They took not one, but four years to develop and include 3D forged, aircraft-grade aluminum for the structure as well as 22 layers of the carbon fiber cloth, which has then been folded back on itself” to create superior strength. When it comes to power, this car, which is the brand’s most powerful model, delivers 624 horsepower and 642 lb-ft of torque. The 6.6-liter V12 engine combined with an eight-speed automatic gearbox enhanced by Intuitive Throttle Response (ITR) gives the car sharpened handling and power.
As for styling, the Black Badge, with its defiant vibe, offers a darker take on modern luxury. Both interior and exterior embody the colors of the night, with the blackest finish ever featured on a model and an interior composed of a mixture of carbon fiber, aluminum threads, creating a stunning complement to the exterior.
With the introduction in 2013, Rolls reincarnated a specter of its past. Originally produced from 1938–1939, the luxury car somewhat strayed from the convention in that only produced the chassis and then sold it to independent coachbuilders to complete. Today, the car is unquestionably a powerful car, featuring a 624 horsepower twin-turbocharged V-12 engine. I was able to power it from 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds. Unlike most Rolls models, which have been specifically tuned to minimize engine noise in the interior, the car comes with an option to pipe the roar directly into the cockpit through its Naim audio system. Those departures aside, one major element of the design scheme remains largely the same: the size. While the Wraith is seven-inches shorter than the Ghost, the car is still longer than its competitors. It is also wider than most mid-sized SUVs. In terms of maneuverability, the big sedan resembles a boat more than an Italian sports car. But, despite having to guide a 5,500-pound beast through the corners, the steering wheel was remarkably light in my hands but incredibly accurate and reassuring.
A four-seat grand tourer manufactured by the legendary Rolls-Royce, the 2020 Rolls- Royce Wraith draws inspiration from the chassis of the automaker’s 2010 Ghost model. First introduced to the world in 2013, the Wraith has a unique look and is dubbed the brand’s entry-level two-door model. Buyers who are interested in entering the elite world of Rolls-Royce can expect to pay $320,500 for the base model, though a plethora of options typically pushes that number upward closer to the $350,000 mark. The Wraith houses a twin-turbo 6.6-liter V12 engine that generates a 624-horsepower output with 605 pound-foot of torque. Top speed is limited to 155 miles per hour and the journey from 0 to 60 miles per hour is over in just 4.3 seconds. Considering the extensive length and a curb weight of nearly 4,000 pounds, the Wraith’s ability to accelerate at a speed that significantly smaller vehicles struggle to reach is impressive. Despite its more than capable performance and surprising agility, drivers of the Rolls-Royce Wraith are shocked by the all-inclusive sense of being pampered when they slide into the driver’s seat. It’s as if Rolls-Royce took a glimpse into the future and opted to include features for every possible scenario a driver could encounter. Naturally, there are the standard features of luxury vehicles: fine leather seats, high-quality trim, and a touch-screen infotainment system. But Rolls-Royce takes it one step further with a retractable hood ornament, rear-hinged doors that close with the touch of a button and a button that deploys an umbrella to spare drivers from experiencing even a single drop of rain.
