The V8 emerged in 1977 dubbed as England’s first supercar. Powered by a 375 hp V8, the first series would accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds and top out at 170 mph, faster than some of the Italian sports cars of the period. Since then, the car has been known as a powerhouse of Aston Martin performance.

In 2005, the most recent generation of the coupe was released, the new generation Vantage developed 380 hp from its 4.3 liter V8. Since then, engine upgrades and modifications have yielded in power outputs in the neighborhood of 430 hp.

In 2006, this premium Aston became available in a Roadster option, giving discerning buyers the option of an open-air symphony of the naturally-aspirated V8. The soft top, electronically operable at speeds up to 30 mph retained all of the coupe’s style while available in complementary fabric selections to the body colors.

Released in 2001, the Vantage S emerged as a performance-focused version of the luxury GT coupe. With improved engine intake ventilation and power output of 430 hp, the Vantage S has an improved 0-60 mph time of four seconds flat. Tightened and refined suspension in combination with high-performance tires and cast lightweight aluminum 19 in wheels, the Vantage S delivers a superior driving experience over the stock Vantage.

Unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in 1998, the Aston Martin Vanquish for sale represented the next step in the marque’s lineup of V12 powered grand touring coupes. Put into production in 2001, the car housed a 5.9-liter V12 that produced 450 hp. Reaching 60 mph from a standstill in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 190 mph, the car packed the luxury and speed it promised in James Bond’s Die Another Day and other screen appearances.

In 2004, the S became available, capable of a higher top speed of 199 mph due to its improved aerodynamics and other minor weight cutting alterations. Production of the line temporarily ended July 19, 2007, with the planned closing of the brand’s Newport Pagnell production facility.

In 2012, a new generation emerged, much changed from its predecessor and featuring several design cues from the exclusive One-77. The new car rode on a lighter aluminum and carbon composite monocoque and aluminum subframe, improving weight and performance. In addition to these structural changes, the V12 retained its displacement but increased its output to 565 hp. Aesthetically, the new car features a derivative of the classic grille, with a more streamlined profile approach than its predecessor.

In 2013, the car became available in a convertible option as the Volante. Slightly slower by .2 seconds to 60 mph in the 2014 model and heavier due to its additional structural reinforcement to compensate for its open top, the Volante provides a refined open-top grand touring experience for drivers and passengers.

Blurring the fine line that exists between supercar and hypercar, the revolutionary Aston Martin Vantage is as mighty as it is dazzling. The body of the car and all of its exterior components are nothing short of spectacular. While a gorgeous car from Aston Martin comes as no surprise to most car enthusiasts, the fact that iconic brand continues to consistently produce such exquisitely beautiful cars is bewildering. From the low sloping and wide clamshell hood to the muscular yet refined side profile all the way to the kicked-out rear, every angle showcases Aston Martin’s intricate focus on detail and overall design perfection. This spectacular bonded aluminum panel-based structure of the awe-inspiring Aston Martin Vantage is revealed to consist of around 70 percent all-new components which are specific to the latest Vantage model. Other inclusions share a striking similarity to those found in the DB11 model, but the majority of these features are not visible from the outside of the vehicle. Likewise, the suspension featured in the Vantage is similar to that of the DB11. Aside from these traits and its aerodynamic components, the Vantage proves to be much more cutting-edge than its predecessor. With dimensions of 175.8 inches in length, 76 in width and a height of 50 inches, the Vantage is both longer and wider than the former model. This larger shell showcases small LED powered headlights, which creates a dramatic effect due to their placement beside the wide hood. Examining the much-anticipated interior design, it appears to have an aggressively sporty composition which is likely because it is intended as an entry-level Aston Martin vehicle. There are two-seats which can comfortably seat two average-sized adults, an armrest in the center, high-belt lines and carbon fiber and leather included throughout the entirety of the cockpit. While the inside and outside look the part of a revered Aston Martin, the most important aspect in any supercar is what lies under the hood. Equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the Vantage generates 503 horsepower, 505 lb-ft of torque and can reach top speeds of a staggering 195 MPH.
