The so-called Interim model was produced parallel to the 400 GT 2+2.

It kept the rear styling of the 350 GT with its larger window and without rear seats, but already had the 320 hp 4l engine and the twin headlights of the 400 GT.

Our car is one of probably only 3 Interim models built with all-aluminium bodywork!

We have the Foglio Montaggio and the confirmation from Lamborghini that it is an original Interim model available.

The car was delivered new in Milan to its first owner in 1965. However, the owner traded it in just one year later for a 350 GTZ Zagato and a Miura.

The car was then sold to a doctor, also from Milan. Later, the car went to the Netherlands and finally to Switzerland.

From 2006 to 2009, the 350 GT was completely restored by a German specialist workshop.

For the last 10 years approximately, it was in a high-class German collection where it was always looked after and maintained by the in-house mechanics.

Even 13 years after the restoration, it is still in first-class condition, having been driven about 1000 km since then.

The first of those is largely thanks to airflow improvements, netting 29 more horsepower and 30 additional pound-feet of torque, for totals of 631 and 443, respectively. The Performantes lower weight is the result of a simplified exhaust system and wider application of Lamborghinis Forged Composite, a resin reinforced with short, chopped carbon fibers.The majority of the rear view consists of purposeful grille mesh for exhausting heat generated by the 8500-rpm V-10, accented by the awesome black-marble appearance inherent in Forged Composites manufacture.Its the inevitable result of multiplying 443 pound-feet through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission then through four Pirelli P Zero Trofeo Rs, but what happens when you engage launch control certainly feels like magic. The Performante accelerates so hard, youre not sure if your eyes are widening because your brain is desperate for more input or if its simply the g-forces packing your eyelids deep into your skull. Either way, 60 mph passes in 2.2 seconds, an improvement of 0.3 over the regular Huracn. After the gut-punch launch, the quarter-mile whooshes past in just 10.1 seconds, at which point the Performante is wailing beyond 136 mph.The air vents, door pulls, shift paddles, and center-console trim bring the Forged Composite black-marble look into the cabin, where its surrounded by other special touches. From the toggle switches for the windows and other controls to the contrast-color perforations and striping on the seats to the fighter-jet-style flip-cover over the start/stop button, the Huracn never lets you forget that youre not just in a car, youre in a Lam-bor-ghi-ni.
