Introduced at the 2009 Geneva International Motor Show, the Bentley Continental Supersports for sale was unveiled as the fastest and most powerful production Bentley ever. Pumping out 621 hp from its biofuel and gasoline-burning 6.0-liter W12 powerplant, the Supersports can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds and 0-100 mph in 8.9 seconds and can sprint to a top speed of 204 mph.

In an effort to shed excess weight from the original car, the Supersports features cargo space behind the front seats instead of the traditional 2+2 layout. The racing buckets in the front are formed from carbon fiber and premium-grade quilted leather to create both comfort and weight savings. The strategic use of carbon fiber and these eliminations have resulted in a weight reduction of 243 lbs. This, in combination with an updated suspension, Continuous Damping Control (CDC), carbon fiber-reinforced silicon carbide brakes and Tiptronic automatic transmission has resulted in making the Supersports the best handling Bentley on the market.

From the exterior, the Supersports is distinguishable by its modified front architecture, black grille, and air intakes, and 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels.

In 2010, the Convertible was unveiled, featuring many of the coupe’s modifications for improved performance. However, the rear seats were retained in the convertible but redesigned in the same spirit as the front bucket seats to keep passengers firmly lodged in place as the car puts down 1.29 g-forces on the skidpad.
