Used Mercedes-Benz Maybach S600 For Sale

Stealth, security, style – these are the characteristics that define the Mercedes Maybach S600 for sale. The new model is the world’s first-ever civilian car equipped with the highest ballistic protection possible for a non-military vehicle. But how does it really hold up?

The Guard can withstand hardened steel core bullets fired from an assault rifle and protect against explosive devices, all while remaining mobile to escort its passengers to safety via the Maybach 6.0-liter V12 bi-turbo engine. Essentially, this car is the peace of mind high-profile riders have been waiting for.

MB’s extensive knowledge in producing special protection vehicles, something the German automaker has done for 85 years, is evident throughout the luxury sedan. Intentionally designed to be nearly indistinguishable from the series production version, the base structure of the Guard is specifically reinforced with steel to ensure maximum strength and stability when facing a threat. The windows are even coated with polycarbonate in the interior so that occupants are protected against splintering and gunfire.

The car joins 3 other models in the Guard range: the G 500, the GLE 350 4MATIC, and the GLE 500 4MATIC.

The 2016 Maybach S600 has set a new standard in luxury. It comes standard with a powerful 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 that produces 523 horsepower and 612 pound-feet of torque. These power numbers are good for a 0-60 mph time of five seconds flat. Standard options include heated 12-way power front seats with memory, cabin fragrance system, ventilated front and rear seats, power executive rear seats with memory, active multi-contour front and rear seats with massage, Burmester high-end 3D surround sound system, in-car Wi-Fi hotspot, a head-up display, and a rear-seat entertainment system. Standard safety features include collision prevention assist plus, active blind spot assist, active lane-keeping assist, night view assist plus, 12-way airbag protection, brake assist, electronic stability program and rain-sensing windshield wipers. Optional equipment includes a Splitview front-seat entertainment system, refrigerator box for the rear cabin, and heated/cooled rear cup holders.

Mercedes-Maybach S Class Sedan

Distinctly an S-Class series, the Mercedes-Maybach S Class Sedan comes in nearly 10 inches higher and wider than previous models. An obviously elevated design with dimensions of 215 inches in length and a wheelbase of 132.5 inches, this change was brought forth to bring additional comfort to passengers inside of the cabin but also serves the purposes of adding a more aggressive aesthetic appeal to the S-Class Sedan. From the front of the vehicle, onlookers are instantly greeted by the pin-stripe inspired front grille, along with exterior paint in two different tones. As a fresh option for this model, there are nine different hues to choose from and buyers can also opt for a clear coat that is applied by hand to add an extra touch of shine to the outside of this S-Class Series vehicle. Entering the cabin, drivers are welcomed with executive-style seats that both recline and massage and feature calf rests for an incomparable traveling experience, whether a driver or a passenger. The seats themselves also showcase meticulous stitching with a signature diamond style. Because this is an S-Class, a tech-infused cockpit is also a given. Some of the most notable technologically advanced features include driver assistance systems, extended interior ambient lighting with 64 color options, a panorama roof with Magic Sky Control, an Energizing Comfort feature, and a touch-screen infotainment system. Despite all of these Mercedes-Maybach exclusive characteristics, unrivaled performance still remains at the forefront of this design.
