Please email  or call 1-*number in the description*  About the Firebird:  The Pontiac Firebird is an American automobile that was built and produced by Pontiac from the 1967 to 2002 model years. Designed as a pony car to compete with the Ford Mustang, it was introduced on February 23, 1967, five months after GM's Chevrolet division's platform-sharing Camaro. This also coincided with the release of the 1967 Mercury Cougar, Ford's upscale, platform-sharing version of the Mustang.  The name "Firebird" was also previously used by GM for the General Motors Firebird in the 1950s and early 1960s concept cars.  The first generation Firebird had characteristic Coke bottle styling shared with its cousin, the Chevrolet Camaro. Announcing a Pontiac styling trend, the Firebird's bumpers were integrated into the design of the front end, giving it a more streamlined look than the Camaro. The Firebird's rear "slit" taillights were inspired by the 1966â1967 Pontiac GTO. Both a two-door hardtop and a convertible were offered through the 1969 model year.  The 1967 base model Firebird came equipped with the Pontiac 230ci SOHC inline-six, it was fitted with a one-barrel carburetor and rated at 165HP. The "Sprint" model six came with a four-barrel carburetor, developing 215HP. Most buyers opted for one of three V8s: the 326ci with a two-barrel carburetor producing 250HP, the four-barrel "HO"  326, producing 285HP or the 325HP 400ci from the GTO. All 1967â1968 400 CI engines had throttle restrictors that blocked the carburetors' secondaries from fully opening. A "Ram Air" option was also available, providing functional hood scoops, higher flow heads with stronger valve springs, and a hotter camshaft. Power for the Ram Air package was the same as the conventional 400 HO, but peaked at 5,200 rpm.  The 230ci engines were subsequently enlarged for 1968 to 250ci, the base version developing an increased 175HP using a one-barrel carburetor, and the high-output Sprint version the same 215HP with a four-barrel carburetor. Also for the 1968 model, the 326ci engine was replaced by the Pontiac 350ci V8, which actually displaced 354ci and produced 265HP with a two-barrel carburetor. An HO version of the 350ci with a revised cam was also offered starting in that year, which developed 320HP. Power output of the other engines was increased marginally.  The styling difference from the 1967 to the 1968 model was the addition of federally-mandated side marker lights: for the front of the car, the turn signals were made larger and extended to wrap around the front edges of the car, and on the rear, the Pontiac (V-shaped) Arrowhead logo was added to each side. The front door vent-windows were replaced with a single pane of glass and Astro Ventilation, a fresh-air-inlet system. The 1969 model received a major facelift with a new front-end design but unlike the GTO, it did not have the Endura bumper. The instrument panel and steering wheel were revised. The ignition switch was moved from the dashboard to the steering column with the introduction of GM's new locking ignition switch/steering wheel.  In March 1969, a US$1,083 optional handling package called the "Trans Am performance and appearance package", UPC "WS4", named after the Trans Am Series, was introduced. A total of 689 hardtops and eight convertibles were made.

Their classic looks paired with reliable mechanicals makes them a great vintage car, but if you are looking for something that will stand out among the more commonplace classics, the Pontiac Series 603 Sport Coupe is a great option. After becoming its own division under General Motors in 1931, Pontiac sat above Chevrolet in the GM corporate structure, but was less expensive than luxury marques like Buick and Cadillac. Because of this, the Pontiacs of the 1930s shared numerous pieces with the Chevrolets of the era, but offered some upscale features, such as the Series 603 offering the least expensive Straight-8 engine for sale in 1933.This 1934 Pontiac Series 603 Straight Eight Sport Coupe is an absolutely stunning example of the beautiful rumble seat coupe that would be a strong contender at any car show or concours event. Thanks to a comprehensive multi-year frame off restoration, this car presents as good, if not better than new and is sure to be one of the best Pontiacs of this era on the market and has won a class trophy at the Forest Grove Concours in Oregon and more recently, Best of Show at the 2023 Hot August Nights at Meydenbauer Yacht Club to prove it. With a 117 wheelbase, the Pontiac Eight was offered with 7 different body styles-all produced by Fisher-Body-and this example is fitted with the Sport Coupe option. Finished in a beautiful shade of two-tone red, the colors are a perfect contrast and look stunning paired with powder coated wire wheels and wide white wall tires. In the rear, a fold out rumble seat is fitted along with a storage trunk, which is mounted on a rear luggage rack.The interior is finished in beautiful beige cloth with tufting that is both comfortable and immaculate looking. Around the interior, stunning applied woodgrain is fitted to the dash and window surrounds which gives the interior a unique look and far more interest than just a single color. The rear window can be rolled down so that you can talk with the people in the rumble seat out back, which is upholstered in dark brown vinyl and has a carpeted floor within the compartment.Sitting under the hood is a recently rebuilt Pontiac 223ci inline-8 engine which is fed by a single downdraft carburetor. Rated at 84 horsepower, the straight-8 is a layout renowned for its smoothness and linear power delivery and in the era, was the engine found in top of the line Buicks and Packards, making this Pontiac a particularly unique vehicle at the time. Power is sent through a 3-speed manual gearbox which features a floor shifter, and out to the rear wheels. The condition of the undercarriage of the car is outstanding and it is clear that when the restoration work was carried out by a prior owner, they took tremendous care in making sure it was done to true show-car standards.This Pontiac Eight Sport Coupe is a great option for the classic car enthusiast who wants something unique in their garage, or somebody who has already experienced the 1930s offerings from Ford or Chevrolet.
