Used Ferrari 612 Scaglietti For Sale

For lovers of all things Italian, there are few luxury automobiles that better capture the country’s history during the early 20th century than the 612. From a legendary design house to a groundbreaking film director, the Grand Tourer is a powerful 2+2 model perfectly equipped to honor an impressive heritage.

2004 saw the first Ferrari 612 for sale, and in the next seven years it went on to become a legendary model in its own right. The exterior design comes courtesy of Pininfarina and honors Sergio Scaglietti, a master designer for the marque in the 1950s and 1960s. Of his countless notable designs, the one the car draws the most inspiration from is the one Roberto Rossellini, Italian director and founder of the neorealist movement in film after World War Two, commissioned for his wife, award-winning actress Ingrid Bergman.

But aside from the storied history and stunning design, this car is one designed to be true to Italian reputation for incredible performance. The 612 in the name comes from the engine’s details, with the 6 alluding to a rounded-up number of its displacement, and the 12 pointing to its 12 cylinders. It’s mated to the F1 gearbox, which features the F1-SuperFast gear-changing strategy that cut gear shifts down to just 100 milliseconds.

Pouring from the V12 and through that F1 gearbox is 532 hp and 434 lb-ft, pulling this luxury four-seater to a top speed of 198.8 mph while taking only 4.2 seconds to reach 62 mph from an absolute standstill. A powerful punch from a historically invaluable model.

If interested in finding one of these storied vehicles for your own collection, be sure to browse through our previously owned models, or usata, as it’s called in Italian. Should you have questions regarding a price or details be sure to speak with the listed seller or one of our trusted sales representatives.
