Used Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet For Sale

If you are looking for a Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet for sale, we have many Porsche listings available. Because of their rarity, depreciation seen on most used cars isn’t much of a worry. This is the brand flagship and a life goal for many to own the best of the best.

Building a convertible into a supercar is no easy task. This is a powerful car with a flat-six engine behind the rear wheels. Because of the unique arrangement, the chassis requires reinforcement when the roof is removed. The industry was shocked in 2004 with the return of the boosted convertible. Porsche had not built a convertible turbo since 1989 because the engines were simply too powerful.

The first convertible version was released in 2012. As the last of the 997 body style, it used all-wheel drive to reach 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. It made 530 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque and arrived with snazzy center-lock wheels. For the ultimate 991 series convertible, the car returned in 2014. Power was upped to 560 with a price tag of $210,000. Launch Control was part of the Sport Chrono package and it shot the German beetle to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds. The AWD Porsche is approaching the limits of tire technology at this level of power.

With the release of the 991.2 series, 2017 pushes the brand into uncharted territory. It packs 580 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque into the most capable convertible chassis on the market. If you won’t consider a used Porsche, pricing starts at $200,400.
